For many year we have been supplying packaging to most large, medium and small Ukrainian and European businesses producing sweets, ginger bread, waffles, marshmallow, halva, nuts-and-honey bars, toffees, caramels, biscuits, rolls, cakes, and chocolate bars. 
In packaging all confectionery products we meet with the following key requirements:
  • compliance with hygiene rules,
  • preservation of product flavour and appearance,
  • resistance to mechanical damage,
  • speed of automated packing,
  • sealing,
  • nice and eye-catching appearance.
Bright design
Packaging for sweet products must appeal to the consumer to take it and purchase this very product. Brightness, original design, unusual pouch shape, pleasant to touch material – compulsory requirements to confectionery packaging.
Juiciness and clarity of packaging design images and colours are ensured by high technology rotogravure printing.
To make the product look even more eye-catching on the shelf, we develop pouches of any original shape for our customers: pineapple-shaped or Santa Claus-shaped.

Types of confectionery pouches

For confectionery products Aris offers rolled materials, as well as stand up pouches (doy pack), center seal pouches (gusseted bags), quad-seal gusseted bags (stabilo pouches) and economical flat pouches (three side seal bags). In addition, we offer the 2017 novelty – flat bottom (square bottom) pouches.
Rolled (soft) packaging for confectionery products
For the producers that package sweets industrially, Aris offers flexible rolled packaging based on polypropylene, with metallized and pearl polypropylene films and full-colour printing by rotogravure.
You are delivered on time the required materials to package confectionery products on your equipment.
Square Bottom Gusseted Bags, Flat bottom pouches
Look more premium, might contain more product occupying the same shelf space. It is eye-catching for consumers.
Quad-Seal Gusseted Bags (Stabilo pouches)
Experiment with extraordinary designer solutions for confectionery packaging. Stabilo consists of four sealed walls. It means that each wall may be made of different materials: transparent, with full-colour printing, with a text or even another texture.
Stand Up Pouches (Doy packs)

The most popular packaging for sweet products. For gift sets, packaged biscuits, sweets or sugar candies this pouch may be manufactured of multilayer materials with full-colour printing, two-layer or metallized coating materials.
For home-made or premium natural sweets it is also common to use a doy pack with the outer kraft paper layer.

Updated traditional packaging

Gusseted Bags (Center seal pouches)
Center seal pouches of transparent popypropylene are convenient as internal packaging (for example, if your designer solution is a metal or paper box).
Flat Pouches (Three side seal bags)
Economical option. These bags are made of polypropylene materials and may be of any size.
For sweet gift sets we offer:
  • transparent polypropylene pouches with full-colour printing;
  • polypropylene pouches with no printing as internal packaging;
  • three side seal bags with a metallized layer and full-colour printing;
  • three side seal packaging with transparent face side and a metallized back side.
Extra options
Packaging for confectionery products may be customized and include extra options:
  • tear notches,
  • rounded corners
  • transparent windows in any place on the pouch so that the consumer sees the product,
  • zip closures,
  • euro slots,
  • handles,
  • perforation,
  • valves,
  • adhesive tape.

Types of confectionery packaging depending on product ingredients

Confectionery products may be roughly divided into two large groups:
  1. chocolate iced products and products with vegetable and animal fats;
  2. no chocolate icing and low-fat products.
For each product with their set of ingredients our technologists select a unique packaging composition (elements).
Ginger bread with jam / waffles / biscuits. To avoid racidification (due to oxygen penetration), products, containing fats and chocolate icing, are packed in BOPP/MOPP films based on the transparent and metallized (UV-barrier) polypropylene films.
Rolls/cakes (high moisture content products). Their packaging must be highly moisture-proof.
Chocolate, especially with nuts. A highly light and air sensitive product. For chocolate packaging we normally use pearl polypropylene (PP), matt PP, single-layer or combined with each other.
