Materials for coffee packaging
For coffee (especially, freshly roasted) it is critical to have a barrier layer as air and light proofing. Furthermore, packaging should to preserve the aroma. The medium layer must be aluminum (Al) or metallized film (VMPET).
Traditional combinations of the materials to package coffee and cocoa powder are:
- РЕТ/Al/PE
- РЕТ/WMPET/PE
- MattOpp/Al/PE
On-trend solution: kraft pouches for coffee
They also include being eco-friendly, natural in the interior and packaging.
Therefore, we have developed kraft packaging with natural kraft paper.
In the laminate Kraft paper/VMPET/PE it is the Kraft paper top layer that is responsible for the tactile and visual esthetics.
At the same time the internal metallized layer protects beans or ground coffee from oxygen and light.
